From a hike percentage
Hike Amount = Current Salary × (Hike % ÷ 100)
From a hike amount
Hike % = (Hike Amount ÷ Current Salary) × 100
New Salary = Current Salary + Hike Amount
Note: This calculator treats your inputs as annual figures and derives the monthly view by dividing by 12. If your appraisal letter quotes a monthly figure instead, multiply it by 12 before entering it here for an accurate result.

Worked Example
With a current annual salary of ₹6,00,000.00 and a hike of 10.00%, your hike amount works out to ₹60,000.00 per year.
Adding that to your current salary gives you a new annual salary of ₹6,60,000.00, or ₹55,000.00 every month, an increase of ₹5,000.00 in your monthly pay.
A few things worth knowing about salary hikes:
Companies usually quote your hike on CTC, not on your in-hand salary, your actual take-home increase may be a slightly different percentage once deductions are factored in.
A hike percentage on its own doesn't tell you much, compare it against your industry's average increment and inflation for the year to see if it's a real gain.
