Terms of Service
The rules for using CalcMint's calculators, guides, and website.
Contents
Overview
These terms cover your use of CalcMint (calcmint.co.in), a set of free financial calculators and guides for people in India. By using the site, you're agreeing to them. If something here doesn't sit right with you, the simplest option is to stop using the site.
These terms work alongside our Privacy Policy and Financial Disclaimer, which cover data handling and the limits of our calculators in more detail.
Acceptable Use
Use CalcMint the way it's meant to be used: to calculate numbers and read guides. Don't try to break, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the site or the servers it runs on. Don't use it to do anything illegal, or to mislead someone else about their finances. We can restrict or block access for anyone who abuses the site.
Intellectual Property
The CalcMint name, logo, calculator designs, and the text of our guides belong to us. You're welcome to link to any page on the site, or quote a short excerpt with a link back. Copying whole guides, calculator copy, or design elements onto another site isn't allowed without asking us first.
The formulas behind our calculators are standard financial math, not something we claim to own. What belongs to us is the specific implementation: the code, the interface, and the way we've written about it.
No Warranty
CalcMint is provided "as is," with no guarantee that it'll be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. We try to keep everything running and accurate, but we make no promises about uptime, and we can change, suspend, or shut down any part of the site at any time without notice.
Third-Party & Affiliate Links
Some pages link to banks, lenders, and other financial products, and a few of those links are affiliate links that earn us a commission if you sign up. We don't control those third-party sites and aren't responsible for what happens on them. Full details are in our Financial Disclaimer.
Limitation of Liability
CalcMint and whoever runs it aren't liable for any loss, damage, or financial decision that results from using this site, including errors in a calculator or outdated information in a guide. You use CalcMint at your own judgment and risk, alongside verification from your bank, broker, or a qualified advisor, as covered in our Financial Disclaimer.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from your use of CalcMint falls under the jurisdiction of the courts in India.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the site grows or as laws change. We'll update the date at the top whenever we do. Continuing to use CalcMint after a change means you accept the updated terms.
