Financial Disclaimer

Our calculators and guides are educational tools, not financial advice. Here's exactly what that means.

Overview

CalcMint builds free calculators and guides to help people in India understand loans, investments, and savings. This page spells out the limits of that: what our tools can do for you, and what they can't. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, since the two cover different things.

Not Financial Advice

Nothing on CalcMint is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. We're not a SEBI-registered investment advisor, a licensed financial planner, or a chartered accountant, and using our calculators doesn't create any advisory relationship between you and us. Treat every result as a starting point for your own research, not a recommendation to act on.

Calculator Accuracy

We test our calculators against standard formulas and do our best to keep them correct, but a result is only as good as what you enter. Our tools also don't account for every real-world variable, things like processing fees, prepayment penalties, exact compounding conventions used by a specific lender, or changes in tax slabs and interest rates after you run the numbers. Always cross-check important figures with your bank, broker, or advisor before relying on them.

No Guarantee of Results

Where a calculator projects future values, SIP returns, retirement corpus, and the like, those numbers are estimates based on assumptions you or we set, like a fixed rate of return. Markets don't move in straight lines. Actual returns can be higher or lower than what any calculator shows, and past performance of any fund or asset class is never a promise of future performance.

Third-Party & Affiliate Links

Some pages link to banks, lenders, brokers, or other financial products, and a few of those are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you sign up through them. That doesn't change the numbers our calculators show or which products we mention, but it's only fair to say it plainly. We don't control, and aren't responsible for, the accuracy of rates, terms, or offers on third-party sites. Verify everything directly with the provider before you commit to anything.

No Professional Relationship

Using CalcMint, emailing us, or reading a guide doesn't make you our client, and it doesn't make us your advisor. We publish general, educational content aimed at a broad audience, not advice tailored to your income, goals, risk appetite, or personal circumstances. For that, you need a professional who actually knows your situation.

Your Responsibility

Any financial decision you make, taking a loan, starting a SIP, choosing a card, is yours alone. Before you act, verify current rates and terms with the actual lender or platform, and talk to a qualified financial advisor or chartered accountant about anything involving real money. We'd rather you double-check us than take a calculator's word for it.

Limitation of Liability

CalcMint, its owner, and contributors aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, including decisions made using our calculators or guides. Our tools and content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, about accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Changes to This Disclaimer

We may update this disclaimer as CalcMint adds new calculators or as regulations change. We'll update the date at the top whenever we do. Worth checking back occasionally if you rely on our tools regularly.
