What CalcMint collects, why, and what happens to it.

Last updated: 17 July 2026

Overview

CalcMint is a set of free financial calculators and guides for people in India, run from calcmint.co.in. This page explains what happens to your information when you use it. If you keep using the site, you're agreeing to what's written here.

Calculator Inputs

Everything you type into a calculator (loan amount, interest rate, tenure, income, whatever the tool asks for) stays in your browser. It never reaches our servers. We don't store it, log it, or connect it to you in any way. Refresh the page and it's gone.

Information We Collect

Beyond that, here's what we do collect.

Contact form

If you write to us through the contact form, we get your name, email, the reason you picked from the dropdown, and your message. It goes through Web3Forms straight to our inbox at calcmint@gmail.com. We use it to reply to you, nothing else. You won't end up on a mailing list.

Usage analytics

We run Google Analytics (GA4) and Vercel Analytics to see which pages and calculators get used and how much traffic the site gets overall. This is aggregated data, not tied to who you are. It can include rough location (city or country), device and browser type, and which pages you visited.

Performance monitoring

Vercel Speed Insights tracks how fast pages load. No personal data involved.

Cookies & Tracking

Google Analytics sets a cookie to tell returning visitors apart. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights don't use cookies at all. You can turn cookies off in your browser whenever you like. The calculators will still work fine since they run locally regardless.

Affiliate Links

Some pages link out to third-party financial products, like loans, investment platforms, or credit cards, through affiliate deals. If you click through and sign up, we might earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it doesn't change what our calculators show you or which products we mention. The numbers come first.

We don't control what happens to your data once you leave CalcMint for one of these sites. Check their privacy policy before handing over anything personal.

Your Rights

The little we collect goes toward replying to your messages, understanding how the site is actually used, deciding what to build next, and keeping things running securely. We don't sell it.

CalcMint runs on Vercel and uses Google Analytics and Web3Forms, as covered above. These companies may process data on servers outside India as part of running their services, and they have their own privacy policies covering that. We've picked established providers, but we can't vouch for their internal practices beyond what they publish.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have rights over any personal data that identifies you: the right to know what we hold, and to ask us to fix or delete it. The only personal information we hold is whatever you've sent us through the contact form, so email calcmint@gmail.com if you want to see it, correct it, or have it removed. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Children's Privacy

CalcMint isn't built for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll take it down.

Data Security

We rely on Vercel's and Web3Forms' infrastructure for security and take reasonable precautions on our end. No system connected to the internet is fully secure, though, so we can't promise anything is airtight.

A Note on Advice

CalcMint is an educational tool, not financial, tax, or legal advice. Nothing here or anywhere else on the site should be read that way. Check with your bank, a SEBI-registered advisor, or a chartered accountant before you make real decisions with real money.

This page will change as the site grows or as rules change. When it does, we'll update the date at the top.
